Graduate in law from the University of Girona (1997), specialising in company, corporate, insolvency and restructuring law. She holds a Master in Bankruptcy Law from the Barcelona’s Bar Association (1999) and a postgraduate course on “Companies in crisis: prevention, restructuring and bankruptcy” from the IDEC-University Pompeu Fabra (2008-2009). Graduate in law from Universidad de Barcelona (1992), Master in maritime law and specialised in port law. She acquired experience as a litigation lawyer at the law firm Bufete Berenguer Comas and at the shipping agent Witty SA. She was also a P&I correspondent for ship insurers of the International Group of P&I Clubs, starting at Witty, S.A. and setting up INDECO in year 2000. From 2006 to 21 June 2012 she gained experience in port law as a lawyer attached to the Secretariat-General of the Barcelona Port Authority. He acquired experience in financial and taxation law at Landwell/Price as associate (01/07/1992 a 30/09/1995), to carry on at the Law Firm of Cuatrecasas (01/10/1995 a 28/02/2017), which he left with the category of partner to set up on his own.
Ambar Diaz. Graduate in law from the Universidad de La Habana (1993) and the University of Miami (2003). Member of the Florida bar association, specialising in maritime law, immigration and laws relating to the US embargo of Cuba. She has legal experience in the defence of cruise ships, crews and passengers in Miami (Florida), in insurance brokerage and as a correspondent of P&I Clubs in Havana (Cuba). She currently works in Florida in her own law firm, Ambar Diaz & Associates, and as an external advisor for the Miami law firm, Houck Anderson, PA. She speaks English and Spanish.
